F.A.C.T. Session 2 – June 19

Sad reflection on our quasi-paranoid preoccupation with “security” in daily living.

I’ver just spent the first 30 minutes of today’s session jumping through a series of hoops trying to persuade WordPress and G** know how many other interfering busybodies that I’m ME and I don’t NEED to Change/Strengthen/Reinvent ANY of the Passwords I habitually use to access my e-mail, Facebook page et al.

Reluctantly I’ve had to concede defeat and add yet ANOTHER Password to those I already have, knowing full well that I’ll forget it by this time next week – or I’ll write it down somewhere, which as far as I’m concerned defeats the whole point of HAVING a Password in the first place!

sic transit gloria mundi
